Kuwait City: Kuwait improves six places in Global Innovation Index. Kuwait is ranked 72nd out of 132 countries. Last year, Kuwait was ranked 78th. Kuwait ranks fourth in the Arab world. For the second year in a row, Kuwait ranks fourth in the Gulf. Kuwait scored 29.9 points in the 2021 Global Innovation Index. In 2020, it was 28.4 points. The list is compiled each year in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Institute and Cornell University in Geneva.
