ZARA'S FOUNDER'S DAUGHTER IS PROMOTED TO THE TOP OF FASHION INDUSTRY

Inditex, the high-street fashion behemoth that owns brands like Zara and Massimo Dutti, has named the founder's daughter as its new chairwoman. Marta Ortega will succeed Pablo Isla, the company's chairman since 2011. Ms Ortega has been with the company for 15 years, starting as an assistant at Bershka, the company's high-end brand.
Ms Ortega is credited with enhancing Zara's brand image by spearheading several campaigns, including the launch of premium collections such as Zara SRPLS and Charlotte Gainsbourg by Zara.
