Kuwait City: The National Assembly will meet next Wednesday and Thursday, January 12-13, according to Speaker of the Parliament Marzouq Al-Ghanim. In a news statement, he stated that the sessions were called by numerous MPs, and that they might be postponed with a request to the parliament's leadership. He confirmed that the session would feature debates and discussions on a number of proposed bills. According to a minister, the government will attend the National Assembly session on Thursday. Mohammad Al-Rajhi, Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, stated that the government was eager to work with members of the National Assembly to realise the aspirations and dreams of the Kuwaiti people.
