HEAVY FOG, FLIGHTS TO KUWAIT RETURNED

Kuwait City: Civil Aviation has announced that some flights arriving in Kuwait have been diverted to nearby airports due to poor visibility at Kuwait International Airport due to heavy fog. 


Yusuf al-Fawzan, director general of the Civil Aviation Administration, said six planes had been diverted to nearby airports due to fog below the permissible level. He had earlier warned that fog in the Kuwaiti sky could cause horizontal visibility to drop below 1,000 meters and make it invisible in some areas.
