Kuwait City: Between the start of the State's fiscal year in April 2021 and the end of December of the same year, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy collected revenues of KD323 million, a collection rate of 58.2 percent compared to the budget projection of KD555 million. Fees for energy and water; power supply for new buildings in the private home, business, investment, agricultural, government, and industrial sectors; and other services make up these earnings. According to the Ministry of Finance's report, total revenues during the aforementioned time were greater than in 2020, when revenues totaled KD122.7 million, or 24.8 percent of the total budget projection of KD495.6 million.
