200 BOATS PER DAY ALLOWED TO FISH IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Environment Public Authority says that 200 fishing boats are licensed daily in Kuwait. An average of 6000 licenses are issued per month. Each boat is allowed to enter 10 times a month. The fee for fishing in El Gown is five dinars each time.


There are no specific times or dates for fishing in El Gown. Sheikh Al Ibrahim, Director of Public Relations at the Environment Public Authority, said the measures were being taken in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and the Authority. The operation is supported by the Coast Guard, the Environmental Police and the Agriculture Public Authority.
