FREE FOOD FOR FRONTLINE FIGHTERS IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND HOME AFFAIRS, DISTRIBUTION WILL START ON MARCH 1

Kuwait City: A decision has been taken to distribute free food items to frontline fighters, including those in the Ministries of Health and Home Affairs, from March 1. Earlier, the delivery was postponed twice due to lack of clarity on certain issues. Now, the Ministry of Industry has announced that the distribution will be on March 1. In a letter to the Kuwaiti Catering Company and the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Industry said that sufficient stock should be kept in the cooperative societies in this regard.


The decision was taken by the Cabinet under Resolution No. 807 of 2020 regarding the distribution of free supplies to Frontline fighters, including in the Ministries of Health and Home Affairs. According to the letter from the Ministry of Industry, the basic food items such as rice, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, tomato paste and chicken should be distributed by March 1.
