LIST OF MOST POPULAR TRAVEL DESTINATIONS HAS BEEN RELEASED BY KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The list of the most popular travel destinations has been released after the ban on entry to various countries was lifted on August 1 last year. Turkey tops the list with 441,000 passengers in the last five months. In second place is India. 369,200 people traveled to India. Saudi Arabia is third with 326,000 passengers and Egypt is fourth with 320,900 passengers. It is followed by the UAE, Qatar and Jordan.


From August 1 to December 2021, 1.988 million citizens and residents traveled to these countries. The number of passengers was on 22,500 flights. The Kuwait Airport also used 250,500 passengers as transit points. From August 1 to December 2021, Kuwait Airport handled a total of 2.8 million passengers. While 1.18 million people arrived in the country as citizens and residents, 1.3 million left the country.
