3 SHOPS OPERATING IN VIOLATION OF JALEEB AL-SHUYOUKH WERE CLOSED

Kuwait City: The Kuwait Municipality has approved a request from the Ministry of Finance to allow the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition to start veterinary clinics in slaughter houses in the capital. The commercial space required to set up a veterinary clinic in the slaughterhouse in Shuwaikh Industrial Area II is 540 square meters. This brings the total commercial area of ​​the project to 2740 square meters. Equalize slaughterhouse projects and increase their financial viability according to the space available to each slaughterhouse, including veterinary clinics, veterinary equipment, a feed bell, a supermarket, a restaurant, a cafe, selling dates, a slaughterhouse, poultry, fishing, a Sales, etc. Maintains licensed activities that fulfill the main purpose of the project.


Officials said the application has been submitted to the relevant departments of the municipality, including the Regulatory Approval Committee, the Project Development Department and the Legal Department, and has been approved. As decided by the Municipal Council on November 12, 2004, the operations of all slaughterhouses should be consolidated. The municipality also stipulates that the agreement between the Food Authority and the Ministry of Finance should be amended.

Fahad al-Muwaisri, head of the Farwaniya Municipality Branch Elimination Unit, said three shops in the Jleeb al-Shuyoukh area had been operating in violation of their licenses.
