EGYPTIAN WORKERS HAVE BECOME THE LARGEST EXPATRIATE COMMUNITY IN THE LABOR MARKET, SURPASSING INDIANS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Egyptian workers have become the largest expatriate community in the country's labor market. According to labor market statistics released yesterday, the Egyptian community ranks first in the country's labor market. There are 456,600 Egyptian workers and 451,300 Indian workers in the labor market. Earlier, Indians topped the country's labor market. There are 424,100 Kuwaiti nationals employed in the country. Bangladeshi workers are fourth with 161,100 workers, Pakistan fifth with 70,300 workers and Filipino workers sixth with 66,000 workers. It is followed by Syrian workers at 63,200 and Nepal at number eight with 40,100 workers. There are 25,200 Jordanians and 20,300 Iranians working in the country.
