FALSE PROPAGANDA THAT VACCINATION IS AVAILABLE WITHOUT PRIOR APPOINTMENT, HUGE RUSGH AT VACCINATION CENTERS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Hundreds of people were evacuated from the Mishrif Vaccination Center yesterday after being caught in a false campaign to get vaccinated without an appointment. The fake propaganda also took place on social media and online media. Authorities sought the help of security personnel as the congestion at the vaccination center was out of control. The Ministry of Health said that fake propaganda should not be believed and only the official website of the Ministry of Health and other social media accounts should be used for information. 


Health officials said vaccinations in the country would only be given to those who receive an appointment via text message on a mobile phone, while other news is just speculation. Authorities said it was dangerous to stay in a group without social distance and that they should only arrive at the vaccination center when they are allowed to do so to maintain health and safety.
