KUWAITIS WARNED OFF UKRAINE

Kuwait City: On Saturday, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry asked Kuwaiti individuals planning to travel to Ukraine to postpone their trip "for the time being." In a statement, the ministry urged Kuwaiti nationals currently in Ukraine to leave the country immediately "for their own safety." Furthermore, the ministry recommended Kuwaitis in the nation to contact the Kuwaiti Embassy in Kiev using the following phone numbers: +380-63-665-0066, +380-63-503-0966, and +380-63-956-6664." MP Abdullah Al-Turaiji has asked His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid to hold a special session to consider the possibility of initiating World War III. The legislator requested that the premier prepare a presentation for the extraordinary session or appoint the relevant ministers to give presentations at the National Assembly Office or the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee to update MPs about war preparations. He emphasised the importance of the government disclosing the facts and addressing citizens' concerns.


On his Twitter account, MP Muhammad Al- Mutair questioned the administration about its strategy in the event of a conflict, noting that most countries exporting wheat, including the United States of America, Russia, and China, will almost certainly be participating. He warned of a food scarcity and a security problem in Kuwait if the government does not fully prepare for the conflict.
