NO NEED TO REGISTER FOR FREE FOOD SUPPLIES IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has stated that claims spreading on social media regarding frontline employees being required to register on a specific app and enter their data on the ministry's website in order to benefit from free food supply are false.

 
The ministry said that there is no need for frontliners to register on any application in order to receive free food supplies, since the only condition is to activate the civic identification card on the 'My Identity' app. It went on to say that the distribution of free meals is based on names of beneficiaries provided by the ministries of Health and Interior. 

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, on the other hand, stated that it raided an illegal location used to store and sell counterfeit goods in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and after following the proper legal procedures.
