Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior has deployed 8,000 security personnel and 1,650 patrols in various regions to ensure security and maintain order throughout Kuwait's national holidays and celebrations.

Major General Anwar Al-Barjas, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, presided over a meeting with security officers to discuss strategies as Kuwait prepares for national holidays. The security personnel are fully prepared and will be on continual alert to enforce the law against any illegal activities such as water spraying, parking in banned areas, parking in designated areas for the disabled, hosting vehicle races, reckless driving, and exceeding the speed limit.

He asked parents to keep an eye on their children and not allow them to be on public highways to avoid exposing them to dangers, and to commit to generous and polite behaviour. Maj. Gen. Farraj Al-Zoubi, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Sector, claimed that 8,000 security personnel will be stationed at several locations including Arab Gulf Street, Al-Khairan, Al-Wafra, Kabd, Al-Subiya, Jaber Bridge, and Al-Abdali Farms. He further stated that water and foam sprinklers are prohibited in order to avoid disturbing the celebrants' joy and to ensure safety.
