Kuwait City: Kuwait is surrounded by a festive atmosphere and joyful expressions every February, which coincides with the occasion of National Day and Liberation Day. As the month of February approaches, Kuwait begins to adorn its streets and public spaces with lights in the colours of its flag. According to the Ministry of Interior, all security and traffic preparations for the national day celebrations have been completed in accordance with the previously established comprehensive plan. The Ministry of Interior has mobilised its resources and increased the preparedness of its people from various security sectors at the request of the higher leadership. Kuwait marks the 61st anniversary of Independence, which transformed the country into a thriving modern state.
