APPLE WILL SUSPEND SALES AND LIMIT SERVICES IN RUSSIA

Apple has become the latest large corporation to suspend all product sales in Russia, part of a growing corporate response against the country's invasion of Ukraine. The iPhone maker expressed "great concern" about the Russian incursion and expressed solidarity with anyone "suffering as a result of the bloodshed."

Apple Pay, as well as other services such as Apple Maps, have been restricted. Google has also blocked Russian state-funded publishers from its features, such as RT. Mobile banking apps in Russian, such as VTB Bank's app in Russia, may soon cease to function fully on devices using Apple's iOS operating system.
