Kuwait City: Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, first deputy prime minister and interior minister, and Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, deputy prime minister and defence minister, have been appointed by an Amiri decree. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was received at Dar Al-Yamama on Wednesday in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who presented Lieutenant General (Rtd.) Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf as the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of His Highness the Amir emphasised the importance of stepping up measures to ensure Kuwait's security, wishing them continued success. The meeting was attended by a number of high authorities.
