COMPANIES THAT DO NOT PROVIDE OCCUPATIONAL INJURY INSURANCE WILL BE LISTED

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower's (PAM) Occupational Safety Center is about to conduct an extensive inventory on the files of companies that do not comply with the requirements and regulations for providing insurance for occupational-related injuries and accidents and paying compensation to victims if such situations occur. According to reliable sources, PAM's centre required that employers renew their files and attach quarterly data (every three months), as well as signature permission, an insurance policy, and a list of occupational accidents and injuries that occurred.

The data are intended to assess the level of the companies' commitment to providing an actual occupational insurance policy that permits the obtaining and payment of compensations to workers as well as the provision of essential treatments in the event of accidents to them.
