PAM PLANS TO BOOST THE MINIMUM SALARY FOR DOMESTIC EMPLOYEES

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower said that it is now trying to raise the minimum wage for domestic employees to 75 dinars per month, up from the current minimum of 60 dinars.


According to the sources, "the basic salary earned by the domestic worker and the like shall be no less than 60 dinars per month" under Law No. 68 of 2015 on domestic workers and its executive regulations published by the Minister of Interior at the time through Ministerial Resolution 2194/2016.
