KUWAIT'S MINISTRY OF POWER CLAIMS IT IS PREPARED FOR THE SUMMER

Kuwait City: M Mutalaq Al Otaibi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Electricity Transmission Network Region at the Ministry of Power and Water, stated that he is fully prepared for the next summer. For this objective, an integrated maintenance programme has been established. M Ali al-Mousa, Minister of Power and Water, has been briefed on the project. He stated that he would provide all feasible assistance in resolving the challenges and overcoming the obstacles.


Minister Al Mousa emphasised the importance of ensuring the ministry's preparation to face summer challenges. Stations, overhead lines, and cables have all been repaired. In addition, OTB said that 80 transfer stations, 33 kV lines at 125 stations, and 400 kV stations had been rebuilt.
