According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, business and government Twitter users may have to pay a "slight" fee to continue using the social media network.

It comes after the board of directors of Twitter agreed to Mr Musk's $44 billion (£34.5 billion) buyout offer.

Mr Musk, on the other hand, stated that the site would always be free for "casual users."

He earlier stated that he wished to "make Twitter better than ever by improving the platform with new features."
