PART TIME WORKERS IN UAE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ANNUAL LEAVE

Dubai: According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Indigenization, part-time workers in the UAE are also eligible to annual leave. The length of time worked for the company determines vacation and related perks. It was also explained that the yearly leave should be calculated by adding up the entire number of hours worked since starting the job.


A day's maximum working time is eight hours. Annual leave is calculated in this manner. There is also a monetary allowance available in place of absence. If the annuity is not taken that year, the whole amount will not be received together with the next year's vacation. 

Only half of the leave from the previous year will be accessible. There are 12 different types of work permits available for nationals and foreigners working in private firms.

Part-time permits allow you to work on a fixed-time, day-to-day basis. Once this is attained, the individual will be able to work in multiple companies on a regular and everyday basis.
