KUWAIT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IS EXPECTING MORE THAN 6 MILLION TRAVELERS OVER SUMMER SEASON

Kuwait City: The General Administration of Civil Aviation predicted that passenger traffic to and from Kuwait International Airport would reach 600,221 during the summer season of this year, with 2,994,786 departing and 3,006,435 arriving.


Saad Al-Otaibi, the administration's official spokesperson and Deputy Director-General for Planning and Projects Affairs, confirmed the readiness of (Civil Aviation) in all operational sectors for this season, in coordination with all government agencies, airlines, and ground service providers operating at Kuwait International Airport.

 Al-Otaibi projected to operate approximately 43,156 flights between June 1 and September 30, split among 21,578 leaving and 21,578 receiving flights.

He noted that (Civil Aviation) urged all airlines and ground service firms to strengthen levels of readiness and employee numbers in order to improve passenger services and increase operating efficiency throughout the summer season.
