ENGINE FAILURE FORCED THE FLIGHT TO ABU DHABI TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN INDIA

Abu Dhabi: An engine malfunction forced an emergency landing in India for a flight from Bangladesh to Abu Dhabi. Air Arabia's Airbus A320 accomplished the emergency landing.


The jet safely landed at Ahmedabad Airport. The jet had an engine failure while travelling from Chittagong airport in Bangladesh. As the cockpit caution light illuminated, the pilot requested permission to land. The flight was then diverted to Ahmedabad, where it landed. The incident has been investigated by the Indian Civil Aviation Authority.
