Kuwait City: The Met Office predicted northwesterly winds of up to 60km/h during the day on Saturday, with gusts of up to 60km/h and visibility of less than 1,000m/h in some spots.


At the same time, the Public Fire Force urged citizens and residents to be wary of the country's climate volatility. The Department of Public Relations and Media has advised amateurs and mariners not to travel on boats or water bikes until the weather stabilises. In the event of an emergency or humanitarian situation, the ministry has advised people to dial 112.
