KUWAITI MINISTRY OF HEALTH BUYS 1.6 MILLION WORTH OF MEDICINES FOR AIDS VICTIMS

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health is in the process of finalizing three contracts worth 1.6 million dinars to purchase medicines for the treatment of AIDS. The Ministry of Health has requested the approval of the regulatory authorities for an agreement to purchase pills worth 359,400 dinars for the treatment of immunodeficiency virus (HIV). 


The Ministry of Health has confirmed that the rate of AIDS cases in Kuwait is normal and expected. According to the Ministry of Health, laboratory tests for tuberculosis and HIV are approved in accordance with the latest international protocols and recommendations for the protection of public health.
