COVID LIMITS ARE BEING RELAXED IN SHANGHAI AS CASE NUMBERS DECREAE

As domestically transmitted cases of COVID-19 in China's largest metropolis remain at zero after a more than two-month shutdown, Shanghai is moving to enable in-person meals and reopening its Disney Resort theme park.

Chinese officials credit its rigorous "zero-COVID" policy with halting the virus's spread, despite the massive cost to the Chinese economy and foreign supply chains depending on China's manufacturing and shipping capabilities that have been thrown off-kilter.
