KUWAIT AIRPORT SCHEDULED TO RECEIVE 5,42,161 TRAVELERS DURING EID HOLIDAYS

Kuwait City: The General Administration of Civil Aviation said that the total number of departures and arrivals from and to Kuwait International Airport during the Eid Al-Adha holiday between July 7 and 17 will be about 542,161 passengers.


The Director General of the Department, Yousef Al-Fawzan, added that the total number of incoming and outgoing flights to and from Kuwait Airport during the mentioned period will reach about 3,484 flights.

Al-Fawzan explained that the number of incoming flights will reach 1,737, carrying 28,5155 passengers, while the number of departing flights will reach 1,747, carrying 25,7006 passengers.

He stated that the highest operating destinations are Cairo, Dubai, Istanbul, Doha and Jeddah, stressing the readiness of the administration in all its operational sectors for the Eid al-Adha holiday in general and the summer season in particular.

He praised the cooperation of all government agencies, especially the Ministry of Interior and the General Administration of Customs, in addition to airlines and ground services operating at Kuwait International Airport.
