EXTENSIVE INSPECTION IN SHUWAIKH INDUSTRIAL AREA : 600 TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS DETECTED

Kuwait City: With the participation of the Ministry of Electricity and Municipality, on behalf of the Ministry of Interior, the Public Safety Department and the Traffic Department conducted a strict inspection campaign in Shuwaik Industrial Area. The inspection was led by Assistant Director General of Traffic Technical Affairs Brigadier Muhammad Al Advani. 600 different traffic violations were found during the inspection.


Nine vehicles on the wanted list were seized. The authorities disconnected the electricity in 44 garages for violating the law. Warning stickers have been affixed on 44 abandoned vehicles. 11 people were arrested for violating residency law. Ahmad Al Shammari, Deputy Head of the Judicial Police Team at the Ministry of Electricity said that such inspection campaigns will continue vigorously. He added that everyone's help is needed for the process.
