FOCUSED WORKPLACE CHECKS, MANY ILLEGAL EXPATRIATES ARRESTED

Manama:  Inspections by the Labor Market Regulatory Authority continue in Bahrain. In the last few days, the inspection was conducted at the workplaces in the Northern Governorate. 


Labor Market Regulatory Authority officials are conducting the inspection in collaboration with Bahrain's Department of Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs. The fingerprints of the workers are collected and their information is verified by reaching the workplaces. The authorities have informed that many violations of the law have been found in the last few days. 

Officials informed that legal action has been taken against those arrested. The current inspection measures are aimed at ending the wrong trends and violations of law in the country's labor market. The public has been requested to report any violations related to the labor market or the affairs of expatriates working illegally.
