TREATMENT AT NEW FARWANIYA HOSPITAL FOR NATIVES ONLY

Kuwait City: Health sources revealed that the services at the soon-to-be-acquired new Farwaniya Hospital will be for Kuwaiti citizens only. Farwaniya Hospital, like Jaber Hospital, will provide integrated health care and services to citizens only. The hospital will serve the citizens of Farwaniya Governorate. Also, like in Jaber Hospital, all medical specialties will be included in the operation plan phases, sources said.


The hospital has extensive operating rooms, internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, maternity wards and special wards. Farwaniya Hospital is the first in Kuwait to have an integrated physical therapy and rehabilitation department of this size. Health care for the residents of Farwania area will be temporarily through the old hospital, officials said.
