PASSENGER FROM KUWAIT ARRESTED FOR SMOKING ON PLANE

Kuwait City:  A 50-year-old passenger was arrested for creating panic among other passengers and crew inside an international flight. A passenger from Kuwait was arrested at the Mumbai airport. The action was taken after the passenger smoked inside the washroom during the flight. Muhammad Shahid was arrested. 


The crew of the Indigo flight noticed smoke coming from the washroom. Subsequently, the authorities arrested Mohammad Shahid under IPC 336 at the Mumbai airport. Mohammad Shahid said that he did not know the rule against smoking inside the plane. He was released on bail after his arrest.
