Kuwait City: The Health Insurance Hospitals Company (Dhaman) and the Kuwait Municipality's Deputy Director General for Organization Affairs, Eng Muhammad Al-Zoubi, recently met. Mutlaq Al-Sanea, the company's chairman, and Thamer Arab, its CEO, were also present.

In addition to meeting the requirements for allocating land to build clinics for the company and the role of the Municipality in various fields, which contributes to achieving the National Development Plan based on the New Kuwait Vision 2035, the focus of the meeting was on the role that Dhaman will play in supporting the health sector and contributing to ongoing efforts to improve the quality of healthcare indicators.

It is important to note that Dhaman is the Middle East's first healthcare facility to use the public-private partnership (PPP) model. In terms of the population with health insurance, it is the biggest in Kuwait. Two million expats with Article 18 visas who work in the private sector will receive the new, obligatory health insurance, along with their families.
