Kuwait City: The General Administration of Private Education has issued a circular that Thursday, September 29, will be a holiday for all affiliated educational institutions, including private schools, as part of the Kuwaiti parliamentary elections. Earlier, the cabinet had decided to give public holiday on 29th to the government agencies in the context of elections. The decision was made under Cabinet Decree 147 (2022) to give voters an opportunity to elect new members of the National Assembly on September 29.
