NEW HOME DELIVERY TERMS POSTPONED UNTIL JANUARY 2023

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior's new traffic rules for delivery companies have been delayed for three months. A large number of SME owners interacted with the Ministry of Interior.


The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media announced that Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Acting Minister of Interior, has directed that the new traffic requirements for delivery companies be delayed until January 2023. 

It was previously scheduled to go into effect on October 1st. MP Majid Al Mutairi urged the Ministry of Interior to postpone and reconsider the decision, claiming that it would harm Kuwaiti youth and their families. MP Khalil Al Saleh stated that it is critical for the government to focus on SMEs and come up with a fair solution to overcome the obstacles.
