KUWAIT'S AMIR HOSTS CROWN PRINCE FOR CABINET FORMATION CONSULTATIONS

Kuwait City: His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, met His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on Wednesday at Dar Yamama Palace. 


His Majesty The Amir was briefed on His Highness the Crown Prince's consultations to form the new government with former National Assembly speakers Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim and Ahmad Al-Sadoon, as well as ex-prime ministers Their Highnesses Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al- His Highness the Amir praised His Highness the Crown Prince's efforts, gave him wise instructions, and expressed good wishes to all officials involved in serving the dear homeland's higher interests. He also emphasised his determination to uphold the Constitution and the law while meeting the needs of the Kuwaiti people.

 Amiri Diwan announced His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has been re-named as the head of the cabinet.
