INDIA-KUWAIT RELATIONS ARE STRONG, ACCORDING TO INDIAN AMBASSADOR SIBI GEORGE

Kuwait City: Indian Ambassador  Sibi George reiterated the depth of relations with Kuwait. He also pointed out that it has become a long-term dynamic partnership through long-standing relationships. It includes a wide range of stakeholders including government agencies, businesses, industry groups, universities, science and technology institutions, academics, scientists, students, innovation and research institutions.


He said this while visiting three Indian warships within the framework of military cooperation and training exchange between Kuwait and India. Also participated in several training exercises with the Kuwaiti Navy. Then the Udyog ceremony was held on the ship of the Indian Navy in Shuwaik. Many people, including Kuwaiti military officers and accredited Arab and foreign ambassadors to the country, participated in the event.

Sibi George said that Kuwait is an important partner of India. It is an important partner in economic development, especially in the areas of energy security and health care. He added that despite the difficulties and challenges caused by the Covid pandemic, the relationship between Kuwait and India has continued to grow in recent years, and bilateral cooperation in combating the pandemic has strengthened the partnership.
