IN SIX MONTHS, GOVERNMENT HIRED 10,000 CITIZENS

Kuwait City: Statistics  revealed that the government appointed about 10,000 male and female citizens in the first 6 months of this year.


According to the figures, 9,786 male and female citizens are employed in state ministries, departments, attached and independent bodies and state companies, where the Ministries of Education, Electricity and Water recorded the highest rates of employment during that period, while 1454 male and female citizens left work in the government sector during the same period, and the majority of them were from the "Interior" and "" Transportation".

According to a simple calculation, the net increase in the number of citizens working in the government sector amounted to 8,332 male and female citizens during the period from January to the end of June.
