Kuwait City, Feb 15: The International Women's Group celebrated the anniversary of Kuwait's independence and liberation, in the presence of Sheikha Intisar Salem Al-Ali, Indonesian Ambassador Lina Mariana, Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Nira Dukhi, and distinguished guests. The 'Brass Band' of the Ministry of Defense played Kuwaiti national anthem. Ghada Shawky, wife of the Egyptian ambassador and head of the group called to observe a minute of silence for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria in her opening speech.
