Demographics adjustment goes on right track

Kuwait City, March 19: The adjustment of the demographics embarked on the track of implementation, after the publication of the Official Gazette “Kuwait Al-Youm” in its issue today, Sunday, Cabinet Resolution No. 191 (/Second), which contained a list of mechanisms and controls to address the imbalance in the housing structure.

These controls included restricting employment in security authorities and jobs to citizens, prohibiting the recruitment of those previously excluded from the security and judicial authorities, intensifying inspection campaigns and tightening penalties for trafficking in expatriate workers’ residences, linking education outcomes to the comprehensive development plan, expanding training programs for national workers, and coordinating between Government agencies related to demographics, and the implementation of electronic connectivity to activate decisions related to this matter.
