Philippines will soon return its workers to Kuwait

Kuwait City, April 7: Philippines will resend its workers to Kuwait within weeks, but after applying more measures to ensure the safety of its domestic workers in Kuwait. The source indicated that the Philippines will apply to Kuwait a set of measures in force in some countries aimed at ensuring the safety of its workers, related to imposing strict penalties on recruitment agencies in the Philippines and Kuwait, in addition to preventing the sending of domestic workers to employers who are not committed to contracts.

Philippines will specify conditions for those who are allowed to recruit domestic workers through compliance with the rules and what is stated in the terms of the contracts concluded, taking duly pledges to adhere to ethical and fair employment standards, and the availability of all required licenses, whether in Kuwait or the Philippines.
