Kuwait opens first centre to monitor poisoning cases

Kuwait City: Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, Kuwait's minister of health, opened the Kuwait Center for Poison Control on Wednesday. It is the nation's first facility dedicated to monitoring poisoning cases, offering guidance and treatment plans, managing toxic substances, and working with other agencies.

Dr. Abdullatif Al-Oumi, the center's director, declared that the facility specializes in arranging toxicology laboratory tests, conducting studies on poisoning cases, working with the relevant authorities to monitor toxic substances, and instructing medical personnel.
