Kuwait to talk with Ethiopia to revive recruitment of domestic workers

Kuwait City: The Director of Operations Department at the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Mansour Al-Hashemi, issues circular asking airlines not to allow the boarding of any passenger of the Philippine nationality except for those who have a valid residence visa in Kuwait, even if he has a prior entry visa, until further notice. 

Kuwait has reopened channels of communication with the Ethiopian side to revive the memorandum of understanding on the domestic worker recruitment agreement with Addis Ababa, indicating that the final version of the memorandum is almost ready. Al-Shammari stressed that allowing recruitment of Ethiopian workers will create a balance in the market and solve shortage problems.
