Public Authority for Agriculture seeks land for stray dogs

Kuwait City: The Municipal Council received a request from the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources to allocate a piece of land for the construction of a dog shelter.

The request is made in light of the worsening stray dog problem in Kuwait, its detrimental effects on society and health, and the numerous complaints from individuals and institutions. The government wants to allot a 10,000 square meter plot of land far from the residential and commercial area.
