Religious scholar says millions of expats are victims of discrimination

Religious scholar Sheikh Muhammad Al Awadi strongly accused that millions of expatriates living in the country were victims of discrimination. Scholar Sheikh Mohammed  said in a video message sent to Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid Al-Sabah that the people in the country are wrongly blaming all the problems on the expatriates.

He said there are exceptions among expatriates, but in most cases it is corrupt citizens who facilitate them to commit crimes, while some Kuwaitis create problems and law-abiding respectable expatriates pay the price. Sheikh Awadhi urged the Home Minister to ease conditions for expatriates to bring their wives and children to the country, which has become their second home.
