Ship carrying 120 people set on fire off the Philippine Island

The Philippine coast guard reported on Sunday that a ship carrying 120 people was set on fire off the island of Bohol in the Philippines. Flames and billows of black smoke could be seen rising from the back of the MV Esperanza Star in videos released by the Philippine Coast Guard. According to the coast guard, all 120 passengers and crew members were safely ejected from the ship. It claimed that no injuries had been sustained and that the fire had been put out. Between the islands of Siquijor and Bohol in the Philippines, the ship was in transit.
