Food waste in Kuwait: A committee to study the social behavior behind the phenomenon

The decision to set up a committee to develop and execute the national campaign for rationalizing food consumption was issued by the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Al-Aiban. 

The committee will be led by Dr. Reem Al-Fulaij and will focus on conducting detailed research on current data on food waste, trends and contributors at national level, as well as conducting studies on social behavior that causes food waste and how to address it.
