145 kg of unfit food destroyed following an inspection

Abdullah Al-Siddiqi, the Inspection Supervisor at the Food and Nutrition Public Authority said that it is important to check the food that is bought has not expired. He added that an inspection tour led to 9 violation reports, closure of 2 food establishments, and destruction of 145 kilograms of food at the auction of Sharq Market saying that the food was unfit for consumption.
