NASA publishes Kuwaiti astrophotographer's space photo on its website

NASA posted the photo of Andromeda Galaxy taken by the Kuwaiti astrophotographer Abdullah Al-Harbi. Al-Harbi wrote on his Instagram account: “My picture of the Andromeda Galaxy was awarded the “Astronomy picture of the day. APOD,” and thus I am the first person from Kuwait to have an astronomy picture published by the American Space Agency.”

He added: “This does not only mean a personal achievement with tough competition, but rather indicates the rise of astronomical photography in Kuwait to an international level.
