Traffic Law amendments to reduce traffic congestion in Kuwait

The Parliamentary Interior and Defense committee discussed the Traffic Law's amendments, which would be included in Parliament's next sitting. The amendments aim to reduce traffic congestion and increase penalties for traffic violators.

The changes allow the General Traffic Department Director to revoke driving licenses or vehicle operating licenses in cases of serious property and life-threatening risks to road users. Upon payment of a specified fine, the driver's license will be restored.
